PRICING
Live The Language Spanish courses cost
$1200 for 16 two-hour classes
Need-based sliding scale pricing available! Just ask!
You may pay in four payments of $300, or if you pay all at once, discounted to $1125 respectively. We require that our students commit to our program for the whole session, that is 16 consecutive classes.
Our price point considers the small, personalized nature of our classes– only 3-6 students per class. If you include the additional opportunities we offer (see below) to practice the language in our Live The Language community both, in person and online, you are paying less than $25 dollars per hour.

La Práctica de Conversación (via Zoom)
Fridays 12:00-12:30 pm & Sundays 5:30-6:00 pm
(for enrolled students only)
“La Práctica de Conversación” is about connecting and communicating with your classmates in Spanish. We will provide vocabulary for specific topics and suggest questions for students to engage in dialogue, but you are free to talk about anything you want during “la práctica de conversación”.
La hora feliz: Every second Friday at 5:00-6:30 pm
at El Mesón on South Lamar

OUR CLASS METHOD
Live The Language classes meet once per week for two hours, taking into account our students' busy schedule. Our classes are small, no more than 6 students per class, to maximize the time students speak in Spanish. The conversational component of Live the Language classes increases as students advance through levels of fluency.
Live The Language provides you with the tools to continue to practice Spanish daily at your own pace through fun and engaging activities, such as our quizlets, videos, “la práctica de conversation” twice per week and “la hora feliz” in addition to the class.
Live The Language classes meet in person and our South Austin classes are hybrid*. You can join our classes at our place in South Austin or from anywhere in the world. Our hybrid room is quaint and inviting. Students who join us virtually in our “comedor de Frida” often mention that they feel like they are physically in the room. Also students who join Live The Language classes in person connect to our students joining virtually through strategically placed screens at face level.
The main advantages of Live The Language’s Hybrid model is that students not only have the flexibility of joining the class from anywhere in the world when “life happens”, but students also get a recording of every class and can listen to the recording and practice pronunciation, grammar while retaining relevant vocabulary long term.
If you miss a class, we will provide a recording of the missed class, as well as the materials for the class via email. Students are responsible for the full tuition for the whole session, regardless of how many classes are attended.
